Since Solapur is upcoming City near to Pune. Lot of Industrial growth is expected. But since Rail track is Single from British era, it need to be upgraded to double line with electrification. This will reduce the train travel between Pune-Solapur to three hours, and reaching Solapur may not be a big problem, by looking at the Housing rates at Pune, People will prefer to settle at Solapur. Further increase in train speed may reduce travel time to only two and half hour. This will also solve traffic congestion problems at Pune. A bullet train may reach Pune within an hour, and may solve many social , economical, industrial problems related to Solapur. It will boost the future of Solapur's Young Generation which found to be in frustration, apart from having Engineering or Science/ Commerce Education. British were wise enough to judge the potential of Solapur. This need to be thought seriously to avoid frustration among young generation. The leaders of Solapur should see the industrial growth of Baramati and other upcoming places, and plan the future of Solapur People.
